Fees & Payment.

My session fees reflect dedicated time for preparation, clinical work, and follow-up documentation.

  • $[___] per [60/75/90] min

  • $[] per session (or $[] monthly)

Payment is due at the time of service unless we’ve arranged something different in writing.

*A limited number of reduced-fee spots may be available depending on current openings.
If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to reach out and we can discuss options.

Insurance.

Insurance can be confusing—coverage varies widely by plan. Here are the most common ways therapy practices handle insurance.

    • I’m in-network with [Insurance Plan 1], [Plan 2], and [Plan 3]. Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend confirming your benefits directly with your provider.

    • Good to ask your insurance company:

      • Do I have mental health benefits?

      • What is my copay/coinsurance?

      • Have I met my deductible?

      • Is prior authorization required?

      • How many sessions are covered per year?

    • I’m not in-network with insurance, but many clients use out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

    • Superbill note:
A superbill includes standard service and diagnostic codes required by many insurers. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.

  • Some clients prefer private pay for simplicity, privacy, or flexibility. If you’re paying privately, your session fee is due at the time of service and insurance is not billed by the practice.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to reschedule, please provide at least [24/48] hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee.

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next client.

Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Some clients use insurance and others prefer private pay. Coverage depends on your specific plan. If you’re unsure, reach out and I’ll help clarify what applies.

  • A superbill is an itemized receipt that clients can submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement (if their plan includes those benefits).

  • Many clients use HSA/FSA cards to pay for therapy services. If you’re not sure, check with your plan administrator.

  • I ask for [24/48] hours’ notice when possible. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the session fee
